EDIT : Son passage arrive super tard, en temps je sais pas mais j'ai avancé jusqu'à plus de la moitié du lecteur.

Il est à San Diego, a sa voix fatiguée que j'aime bien. Revient sur son séjour à Mexico, des concerts à venir, de la tournée, les vidéos sont faites par Jared, l'enregistrement de l'album (un peu toujours le même blabla au final), l'histoire d'Alibi et des bruits de vaisselle, retour sur le film Legend of the Guardians (étaient-ils au courant que K&Q était sur le trailer ? réponse, oui) et, on s'en serait pas doutés, mais de nouvelles dates à venir visiblement. Pour au moins la côte est des USA.

- So you guys had a big year last year, you had the album out for TIW and a lot of single guys you even managed to win some really great awards ! Best rock band, Rock video and National band and now you just came out with your deluxe edition for TIW with some new tracks on it!

- Well you know we will see and I mean it's been great so far and pretty amazing! It start off with me going away to mexico for about 7 days and getting some rest, thinking about upcoming shows and performances, game planning you know this year so

- Well you just have to come to the show and see it you know, ! There is a little bit in our performances for sure but you definitely have to come and experience it yourself and we have some surprises for everyone so...

- I can't wait to see the performance and I actually I have listened to the new album TIW and I really I mean enjoying that album there is so many differences, it's not just all fast or slow these a lot of everything and I know you guys must give you all, how is that process with making that album?
- Well during that...it takes a couple of years to make that record and during that time they were a lot of things going on like challenges, a lot of celebration and so the album reflects that time period you know for being stole of 30 millions dollars, a new president being elected...Obama and then you know the world melting financially and each other going on our personal growth and challenges and the album definitely reflects that time and I think if we weren't going to any of those things that we wouldn't have the album we have today you know it wouldn't be called This Is War and during the recording process we had time to experiment and kind of you know go on this adventure with the sounds and we basically finance the album ourself in week because we have a label for the making so we had a lot of time and freedom to express ourselves and these all different type of emotions going on through that album...these one song...it's just recorded with a mic and called Alibi, and it's me at the drum, Jared at the piano, Tomo at the guitar and we just press record, and we just recorded that way ! If you listen carefully these dishes being washed in the background, yeah so we just keep it just like that intimate, as real as possible and then we have other songs that have many levels to it, songs are energetics, songs with new faces, songs that brings more electronic, some songs more rock so yes we can cover the emotional spectrum.
- Wow let me tell you, i think you guys do a great job on this album
- Thank you, It's everything we wanted, It's everything that we set out to do, to accomplish so it feels good to sit back and look at what you did and be grateful for the experience, that's pretty cool
- I do have one question for you, now I don't know if you notice or not but your song Kings and Queens was on a trailer for a movie called Legend of the Guardians did you guys know that, that was featured on that trailer?
- Yes

- Yeah there is that but it's also nice to hear your song in different way and see if it work in different venue I mean this song is really theatrical and cinematic so it's a pretty good fit in the trailer

- We do have plans to come to the east coast ! Philly? not sure about Philly but...

- Oh vous savez, nous verrons, je veut dire c'est plutôt bien partie pour le moment, ca à été incroyable et ca a commencé avec mon voyage personnel a Mexico pendant 7 jours, qui m'a permis de me reposé, de penser aux show à venir, à nos performances et au placement de mon jeu cette année!

- Et bien, vous n'aurez cas venir pour le découvrir! Il y en a peu dans chacune de nos performances c'est sur mais vous devez venir pour tenter l'expérience vous même et qui plus est nous réservons quelques surprises!

- J'ai très hâte de vous voir sur scène, j'ai écouter votre dernier album TIW et je doit dire que je l'ai vraiment adorée, c'est tellement différent, je veut dire ce n'est pas que de la musique lente ou rapide, c'est emplie de différents son et je sais que vous trois avez tout donné sur cet album! Comment c'est passé la naissance de cet opus?
- Et bien...cela nous a pris environ deux ans pour crée cet album et durant tout ce temps, nous avons traversé de nombreuses choses, des challenges, des réussites...et bien évidemment cet album reflète ce laps de temps ou nous avons été endetté de 30 millions de dollars, ou un nouveau président a été élu...Obama et vous savez la crise économique et bien sur toute nos propres expériences personnelle, notre évolution individuelle et cette album est un parfait reflet de tout cela et je pense sincèrement que si nous n'étions pas passé par tout cela nous n'aurions pas cet album aujourd'hui et il ne ce serait pas appelé This Is War.
Et durant l'enregistrement nous avons eu beaucoup de temps pour expérimenter de nombreuses choses, de nombreux son et vous voyez continuez cette aventure de plus nous avons quasiment du financer nous même cet album car nous n'avions pas de label pour le faire mais cela nous a apporté beaucoup de temps et de liberté pour exprimer ce que nous souhaitions, c'est aussi pour cela qu'il y a de nombreuses émotions qui se dégagent de cet album...Il y a cette chanson que nous avons enregistré avec juste des micro et qui s'appelle Alibi, cette chanson c'est juste moi à la batterie, Jared au piano et Tomo à la guitare....on à juste appuyer sur enregistrer et c'est comme ça qu'elle est née! Si vous écouter attentivement vous pourrez sûrement entendre quelqu'un faire la vaisselles en arrière plan! c'est ainsi qu'on a voulu la garder...intime et aussi vrai que possible... Après nous avons d'autres chansons à plusieurs niveau différents, certaines sont très énergique, d'autre on plusieurs facettes, certaines amènent quelques chose de plus électronique et certaines sont beaucoup plus rock... concrètement on couvre quasiment tout le spectre émotionnel.

- Merci, C'est tout ce que nous voulions, tout ceux pourquoi nous avons travailler, accomplir cela c'est juste tellement bon, se détendre et regarder ce que nous avons réaliser et être reconnaissant de l'expérience, c'est super cool !l
- J'ai une autre question pour vous, je ne sais pas si vous le savez mais votre chanson Kings and Queens est sur le trailer d'un film appelé Legend of the Guardians est ce que vous le saviez?

- oui il y a cela mais c'est aussi très intéressant d'entendre sa chanson dans un contexte différent, dans un sens différent et voir si cela fonctionne! Je veut dire cette chanson est très théâtrale et cinématographique, elle colle donc très bien a ce trailer.

- C'est plutôt la batterie qui m'a choisie, j'ai commencé a taper sur une boite avec des stylo quand j'etait gamins et je pense que j'ai juste grandie et évoluer à partir de ça et sinon je joue du piano et de la guitare.
